ABOUT ME
I'm a PhD student at Northwestern University studying Archaeology. I received my Masters in Medieval Archaeology from the University of Sheffield and my Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. But there is more to me than that:
SOME FACTS
I grew up in Wisconsin, a Canadian bordering state near the center of the United States. I currently live in Chicago, a city of 3 million. I spend my spare time (between reading and writing) biking, running and knitting.
ARCHAEOLOGY AND ENGLAND
I have wanted to be archaeologist since I was eight years old. I started digging at nineteen. From then, I spent every summer working!
I have been interested in England's archaeology and history since I worked at Thornton Abbey in North Lincolnshire in 2012. I fell in love with the old buildings, good pubs, and interesting people. When I came back to school, after three years in commercial archaeology in the US, I decided to continue my work in a new landscape in England.
